SALT Group Limited
Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Policy
Commitment to Child Safety
We are committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users and strictly prohibit any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) content on our platform. This includes any content that depicts or promotes CSAE, as well as any actions that may contribute to its dissemination.
Age Verification
To prevent underage access to our platform:
- Terms and Conditions: Users under the age of majority are strictly prohibited under our terms and conditions.
- Self-Attestation: Users must confirm they are over 18 years of age (or the applicable age of majority in their country) during the registration process.
- Selfie Verification: Users are required to complete a selfie verification process, reviewed by our moderation team, to ensure they appear to be over 18. This is completed when users register for the app meaning they are unable to create an account without completing selfie verification.
- Sanctions available: If a user appears to be under the age of majority or there is any indecision, we will either request age verification documents, use a third party age verification solution or ban the account. We are cautious in our approach and the account will be rejected if we are unsure.
Content Moderation
We have robust content moderation practices to detect and remove any CSAE content:
- Illegal photos of minors are strictly prohibited under our terms of service (section 11.4)
- Users can report any content or behavior they believe violates our policies. Reports are reviewed promptly by our moderation team.
- We carry out regular, random content audits.
Reporting and Cooperation with Authorities
We always cooperate with requests from law enforcement and other relevant authorities.
- Mandatory Reporting: Any detected CSAE content or activity will be reported to the appropriate authorities as required by law.
- User Cooperation: Users are encouraged to report any suspicious activity or content related to CSAE.
Continuous Improvement
We regularly review and update our policies and practices to ensure they effectively address and prevent CSAE:
- Policy Updates: Our policies are reviewed periodically to adapt to emerging threats and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- User Education: We provide resources and guidance to our users on recognizing and reporting CSAE content.
By implementing these measures, we aim to create a secure and respectful environment for all users, aligning with CSAE standards and our commitment to child safety.
