Our mission
In an online world it can be difficult to meet other single Christians, to find connection with those who really share our faith and our values. Traditional dating can often feel awkward and pressured. We knew there had to be a better way for Christians to meet and date, and our mission remains simple: to make meeting other people who love Jesus a little less awkward, and a lot more fun! We aim to equip you in your singleness and dating journey and to engage in helpful discussions - within a genuine community to support you along the way!

As if meeting single Christians in church or our local community wasn’t hard enough, our online world has made us feel more isolated from one another and made developing genuine connections even more difficult. SALT is for single Christians who love Jesus and are looking for a relaxed, safe space where they can meet and get to know others who share their faith.
How is SALT different?
Building real community
SALT is made specifically for Christians and is designed to help you find someone who shares your faith. SALT enables you to connect on specific values and interests, ore than a dating app, building real community is at our heart. We understand the challenges of Christian dating first-hand, and are here for the whole journey. You can interact with other Christians globally through live events and there's a dedicated YouTube channel with helpful content to support your dating journey.
What does SALT believe?
Not defined by our relationship status
We believe that God’s design for a long-term relationship is marriage, and that for Christians it is important for this to be with someone who shares our faith. Everyone is able to join our app and to set preferences according to their beliefs. We aim to create a safe online space where users treat each other with respect, remembering that each user is a real person made in God’s image. We also recognise that we are not defined by our relationship status, or ‘completed’ by it, and we equally value and celebrate singleness.

Paul
Product
Paul is married to Sophie and they're blessed with a daughter, a son, and another on the way. In his (limited!) spare time when not coming up with the next new killer SALT feature, Paul loves long walks, reading, tennis, swimming with the family, watching the Springboks, grilling meat, and drinking good beer.
Chris
Engineering
Chris is 10% human, 90% AI. Known as “Mr. Cupid”, he’s a tech enthusiast with a passion for climbing and a love for exploring the world. He is the backbone of SALT’s tech team and welcomes every IT challenge that comes his way.
Sarah
Operations
Sarah loves nothing more than a crossword, good coffee, watching tennis, and spending time with her family and friends. When she’s not keeping the SALT team on track with her love of efficiency and spreadsheets, you can be sure she'll be working on her next (terrible) pun!
Haven
Creative
Originally from Colorado USA, Haven has found her heart in Scotland. When not editing videos for SALT’s YouTube channel, she enjoys walking up hills, capturing a sunset, and precious time with her friends and family.
Isabel
Content
Isabel’s life mission is to provide family for the lonely. She and her husband have two kids and a big old house where four single people lodge with them and live as one weird family. She orchestrates all the social media content for SALT and loves connecting single Christians together.
Matt
Growth
Matt, originally from Idaho USA, is married to Laura (who he’d previously met on SALT!) and has an adorable little boy. He loves playing Magic the Gathering with his friends and connecting SALT users globally!
David
Community
David is married and has an energetic son running about at home to keep him occupied. He loves all things sports and when he isn’t providing world-class service for SALT users everywhere, he enjoys serving at his church and going out with his friends.
