Yes I am

Do you journal?
This has been a growing trend for a while now and I think for good reason.
Spending time each evening thinking about the amazing things God has done that day is a great practice to do before bed.
This is just one example of journaling, let’s hear how you do it 🙂
Yeah. Def. It helps me remember all the good things God has done for me, which is useful in times of trouble, trial, and adversity.
Yes I do journal and whenever I doubt what God can do I go back and read of all he's done for me in the past. He is always faithful!!!
I try to but it is not regular… after reading others comments it very encouraging to write more often .
Yes. I love it. Since I learned write and read that's been one of my favourite things. I love letters and languages and I am so fascinated by them. I write poetry and songs and diary and stories. It's like breathing.
Like breathing together with Spirit of God and sometimes founding something amazing and creative in Him and with Him...
Yes, and have done for 20 years. Usually daily in the morning, I sometimes write down prayers, musings, I write out scriptures and prophetic words when I receive them. And I write down things I'm thankful for. At times, it's been a life-saver of a discipline.
I really enjoy journaling, when I’m in church on Sunday I hear the word of god and write it down so I remember for my week ahead.
consistently on 2024
No But I have been encouraged to and someone just told me about journal and 🔥 burn
I used to a lot growing up, but I havent done it in a while. I migjt pick it up soon though!
Yes!!! I have a unique way of journaling. If me and God is having a conversation, I highlight my words as pink and His Words green 🥰
I find writing out a prayer is more personal..strictly between me and God
Yesss, prayer journal, a journal in general and a dream diary. Every morning and night 🤭🌸

Journal gratitudes
Yes. Not daily. I STRONGLY recommend it because it has helped me to gather my thoughts, ask questions and think 🤔
Yes, I do. Not consistently everyday like I used to but I do enjoy it when I do.
I used to journal every day when I was first starting college. I would write out how my day was going, situations I had gone through, poems and conversations with God. It was so refreshing it also really helped me get through the terrible anxiety I used to have.

I started prayer journaling at the back end of last year - it keeps me accountable in my prayer life and keeps me focused. I'm constantly stressing that I'm doing it 'wrong', but everyone has different styles. I do love Bible journaling. I'd love to see table sessions based on journaling 😃
@Imogen I understand your feeling of doing it 'wrong' as well, that happens with me sometimes. But as you say, everyone does it differently and that's ok. I'm learning the important thing is to just be spending time with God, and consistently showing up in that. I'm sure you're doing great sis! ☺️

@Kelly I'm so glad I'm not the only one 😅 Definitely! God knows our heart and intentions 💖 I've found it gives me so much peace as well
@Imogen hi x
Hi 🙂
I have so many journals. I write in them all. Sometimes, it's scriptures, dreams, sketches, or letters to Jesus!
Yes, journaling is really good for stress relief
@Jacinda hi x
Absolutely I write prayers and thoughts regularly. I also keep a journal of dreams I have for my art.
I try to, it's something I'd like to get better at. I have a prayer journal from last year that I honestly forgot all about until this week lol. So I've just restarted that. 🙂
I heard people journal as a practice to hear from the Holy Spirit … I started that last year a bit and I can say it’s doing good !
I write my prayers and thoughts in the good and bad times. And I look at them later to see just how far I've come from a life of sin and pain also so I can see where God has purposed events in my life as memorial and witness to what God has done in my life. It puts things in perspective. I also write my thoughts on scripture and how I struggle to grasp certain concepts or where I lack in faith or discernment
