@Vin We love because God first loves us. As a woman hoping to one day be a wife, I'm praying and already submitting myself to my husband by first submitting and loving the Lord. Submission and love happens way before saying 'I do'...it's the posture of the heart. Winning over a unbelieving husband...I pray that I will never be unequally yoked...I would much rather remain single. I pray for them, will talk to them about the Lord but it's the power of the Gospel that will save them.

@Kezia again the point is, God's commands are not conditional. you either obey or disobey just as husbands are called to love their wives so are wives to submit to and respect their husbands regardless of how the other side treats them, for God's glory and so unbelievers do not blasphemy the King. your first statement is conditional on when a husband does an action. how we live and obey the King's words isn't conditional on how people treat us, it's to honor and obey the King.

@Vin my 1st statement is not conditional...you've misread and/or applied your own interpretation...I said 'gladly submit' not that she wouldn't or shouldn't submit. Just like how there will be seasons where it will be easier or harder for a husband to love his wife, there will be seasons where it will be easy for a wife to submit to her Husband...I have never stated that the God's commands are conditional...that's you and your misunderstanding.

@Kezia If I may say🙏not sure it’s fair to say he’s misunderstood. I think we have to be careful how we handle the gospel or explain away our words. Not personally you, all of us, as the enemy is always in our midst and to me the teaching in this statement/ explanation doesn’t taste right. Jesus says If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? Matthew 5:46, which is why I think your explanation doesn’t sit well 🙏❤️

Unless you understood what I meant by my own words then you can't possibly judge if someone misunderstood them or not.
